Registration is open for the 2019 Summer Season!
At Camps Garnier and Marion a wide range of fun activities are organized around weekly themes.
Every Tuesday, an outing or a guest is part of our itinerary. On Thursday, we spend the day at the outdoor swimming pool, such as Cedar Park in Bowmanville or Petticoat Creek in Pickering.
Camp Hours: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The fees for Before and After care listed below are applicable when the child arrives earlier than 8:55 am and/or leaves later than 4:30 pm.
Each child receives a T-shirt with each week of registration. The T-shirt is given on Tuesday morning. It is mandatory for all kids to wear the camp’s T-shirt during outings. Extra T-shirts are available at the cost of $10.00 each.
Athletic shorts or capri pants are recommended instead of jeans. Long hair should be tied and jewelry is prohibited in the gym. For more information, please consult the What to bring to camp page.
Camp Garnier and Camp Marion are not specialized in children with special individual attention needs.
Please note: Our Golden Rule being In French at All Times, it is very important that your child be able to communicate in French, for his/her safety and enjoyment. To attend camp, your child must have attended at least one full year of French Immersion and be able to understand and express him/herself in French. See our FAQ’s for additional guidance.

Junior Counselor Program
Camps Garnier and Marion offer a Junior Counselor program for the 13 to 15-year-old. Junior Counselors receive training and volunteer hours, and must attend at least one week of camp in order to practice their new skills. The Junior Counselor must have completed Grade 8 and be 14 years of age by December 31st.
The cost of the Junior Counselor program is $110.00 per 5-day week ($70.00 for Week 1 and $90.00 for Week 6) plus $90.00 for an in-class training session. The training session will take place on Tuesday July 2nd at Camp Garnier from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Lunch will be provided, but the Junior Counselor should bring snacks and a water bottle. The Junior Counselor must register here by May 15th.
The camp opens at 7:30 am and closes at 5:30 pm if you need to drop off/pick up your child earlier/later. Your child will receive volunteer hours equivalent to half of his/her weekly hours (16 hours for Weeks 1 and 6, and 20 hours for all other weeks). These volunteer hours are generally accepted by schools, but you may need to check this with your child’s school as criteria can differ between school boards.
