The camp team is made up of a camp supervisor, coordinators, full-time counselors, part-time counselors and volunteers. The health and safety of the children is our staff’s priority. Meticulously selected, the staff consists of High School, College and University students. The Supervisor has many years of prior experience at our camps, first as a counselor, then as a coordinator, and is enrolled in a post-secondary establishment.
At the top of the organization, we find members of the Club Optimiste francophone de Durham who are in charge of guiding the group.
You will find a team of dynamic and dedicated individuals that have training in children’s psychology, group management, organizational strategies, safety and security, recreational activities, and their CPR and First Aid.
The camp’s golden rule is to “communicate in French at all times”.
