On Thursday, we spend the day at the outdoor swimming pool, such as Cedar Park in Bowmanville or Petticoat Creek in Pickering.
Camp Hours: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The fees for Before and After care listed below are applicable when the child arrives earlier than 8:55 am and/or leaves later than 4:30 pm.
Each child receives a T-shirt with each week of registration. The T-shirt is given on Tuesday morning. It is mandatory for all kids to wear the camp’s T-shirt during outings. Extra T-shirts are available at a cost of $10.00 each.
Athletic shorts or capri pants are recommended instead of jeans. Long hair should be tied and jewelry is prohibited in the gym.

The cost of the Junior Counselor program is $180.00 per week ($150.00 for Weeks 1 and 6) plus $100.00 for a mandatory in-class training session. The training session will take place on Tuesday July 4th at Camp Garnier from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Lunch will be provided; the Junior Counselor should bring snacks and a water bottle.
The Junior Counselor must register here by May 15th. The camp opens at 7:30 am and closes at 5:30 pm if you need to drop off/pick up your child earlier/later.
Your child will receive volunteer hours equivalent to half of his/her weekly hours (16 hours for Weeks 1 and 6, and 20 hours for all other weeks). These volunteer hours are generally accepted by schools, but you may need to check with your child’s school as criteria can differ between school boards.
